We are Roots is a collaboration between Blend Mishkin and New York’s legendary MC Jamalski. A Hip hop driven Reggae Riddim featuring Blend’s trademark sound on the production and Jamalski’s unarguably massive power and MC Skils.
On the Remix tip: DJTzinas is building a whole new dancehall riddim around the vocals and manages to place the tune right into the “Bashment”crate of any Dancehall/Soca Selector.
J.Bostron is turning the tune upside down by rolling it with a ragga/jungle flavour to spice things up.
Last but not least the infamous Barney Iller takes it down to a nearly roots and ska path obviously with a twist.
