The “Mama Proud” Riddim by Blend Mishkin is a slice of intense Contemporary Dancehall with an underlying dubstep production flavour & more kick than a mule on PCP. A crisp heavyweight riddim loaded with a devastating bassline, spine-snapping snare and intelligent uncluttered instrumentation this release is pure 21st Century dancefloor & soundsystem Fyah. With 5 strong vocals to roll out, Blend Mishkin is pushing the boundaries of what can be expected from European dancehall riddims.
First on the mic is the UK’s Peppery with “Unconditional Love“, A nod to the classic Jamaican dancehall chanting of the 90′s, Letting you know wha a gwan with di gal dem.
Next up is the ever versatile, long time Cast-a-Blast artist BNC, never missing a beat whilst blazing over the track with his trademark swagger and party rocking lyrics on “Dancehall Addict“.
The third vocal on the riddim is provided by Switzerland’s Cookie The Herbalist, leaving you without a doubt that no-one can test this one as it’s going like a runaway train “Straight To The Top“.
Providing a truly worldwide flavour to the EP with yet more fyah coming at you from Canadian Clinton Sly showing his lyrical dexterity as he spits furiously on his cut “Trouble On Di Dance Floor
Back to Europe for the final voicing from Baba The Fayahstudent telling it straight on “Ready Fi Dis“, Mashin’ up di Dancehall with no love for the wicked in his conscious spiritual lyrics.
A Big release from Blend Mishkin, this will doubtless remain in DJs sets & playlists for years to come.

Title: Outta Here
Artist: MustBeat Crew
Genre: Ghettofunk, Breaks, Downtempo
Digital Release Date: 2012-01-20

Cast-a-Blast recordings proudly presents “Outta Here“. Budapest based outfit “MustBeat Crew” handle production duties and a trio of Europe’s finest remixers keep the flavours diverse and complementary, bringing different takes on the main elements while maintaining the flow & feel of the original track.
First up MustBeat Crew have come with Heavy, Tripped-Out Downtempo Breaks. A slice of smokey Classic style Trip-Hop with Jazzy Dub fuelled ambient vibes, floating keys and chimes, flawlessly crafted instrumentation and subtle sample usage.
Keeping the sunshine Funk & Jazz flavour flowing in the first of the remixes is the ever versatile Mr Bird, Who ups the tempo a notch and drops a chunk of laid back Soul infused Latin Breaks that’s carried through with a fresh handclap element and grooving use of the hook.
Next up on remix duties are Vono Box, The Hungarians have produced a carnival vibe on a piece of percussion led Electro-Cumbia which has a glorious rolling drum-loop. With it’s infectious stuttered sample structure and snatches of muted brass, this one takes you full bore into party territory.
Topping off this release are the incomparable Nynfus Corporation, They take you into Glitchy Wobble Breakbeat territory bouncing all the way to the drop with a driving 110bpm  dancefloor shaker of a remix that has plenty of swagger and bite.
